The reagent dosing unit (RDU) is intended for the storage and dosed input of scale inhibitors, corrosion inhibitors, paraffin demulsifiers, hydrate formation inhibitors in the pipeline of the oil and gas production transportation system and oil and gas wells for the purpose of performing in-line oil demulsification, protecting pipelines and equipment from corrosion, the formation of salts and paraffins, hydrate formation, etc.

The BDR is a container body with doors, roof and lighting fixtures complete with lamps of full factory readiness. Removable upper housing to clean unit capacity.
The BDR reagent dosing unit itself consists of the following equipment:
- a pump to fill the tank for storing chemicals;
- supply capacity for the issuance of chemicals;
- dosing pumps (at least two: one - working, the second - standby) for automatic; regular input of a chemical reagent;
- instrumentation: flowmeter, level sensor in the tank, pressure gauge, etc .;
- internal piping;
- shutoff valves: taps, valves, plugs.
In a structural respect, the block box is made in the form of a steel power frame of the base of the block and a light steel frame mounted on the frame of the base of the block. The floor covering is intrinsically safe, oil resistant, nonflammable. To prevent the spreading of flammable liquids outside the premises along the perimeter, bumpers are provided. The bottom plane of the base is made of steel sheet 4 mm thick. The constructive solution of the block ensures its stability in the longitudinal and transverse directions.
Design and manufacture of the RDU is carried out taking into account the parameters of the pumped medium, the required productivity and pressure, operating conditions and individual customer requirements.
